EZTracker Product Overview
EZTracker 4.5 is MaxIT's original popular and widely used software
that tracks training activities. Version 4.5 features enhancements based
entirely on feedback from the EZTracker user community. EZTracker has become
even easier to use and more adaptable to different needs and different
industries.
Important: EZTracker is a PC based application for training tracking

training tracking product with optional user self-registration.

What EZTracker is NOT
EZTracker is not a software tool for resource management or to launch or
track computer based training. Resource management involves managing the
resources involved in delivering training such as scheduling multiple class
rooms, reserving serialized inventory and detailed cost analysis.
What EZTracker is
For many organizations, resource management is over kill to the business
need. A good analogy is killing an ant with a sledge hammer. For these
organizations, EZTracker offers tremendous capabilities and value that will
not break the budget.
EZTracker began as a project for a client in 1995. This client was frustrated
with the costs and delays with developing a home grown system with their
internal staff. Another client working toward the 6-sigma quality standard
helped define extended functionality including curriculum management. Since
then EZTracker has been constantly enhanced and has achieved a large customer
base from a broad range of industries including manufacturing, financial,
healthcare, distribution, education, government, military, law enforcement,
software, and most other industry segments.
The features of EZTracker Version 4.5 were based entirely on user suggestions.
Following are the capabilities of Version 4.5

EZTracker will automatically scroll down the listing of records (names,
courses...). Ideal for larger populations.

A data dictionary allows for every field in EZTracker to be relabeled to
whatever term you want and be made required for entry. (Change LearnerID
to SSN, Clock#, UserID...)

Several additional user definable fields have been added including additional
date and numeric fields.

Learners and courses can be made active or inactive. Inactive records still
display on reports, but are not available when enrolling or posting training
tracking.

The key down feature has been applied to enrollment allowing you to enroll
by LearnerID, Last Name, Title ... or Course ID, Course Desc ....

A calendar/planning tool has been added to Class Register. This will drill
into your class listings for those classes that are up-coming today, tomorrow,
next week, last week, next month
.

A report manager allows you to link external reports and mail merge documents
to be launch directly within EZTracker.

Several user interface enhancements allowing for faster entry of data and
color coding for easier navigation and a short learning curve.

Other systems have preset window sizes (including older versions of EZTracker).
EZTracker 4.5 will automatically resize data listings to your display monitor
presenting as much information as possible.

Easily enter and post training by group or individually

Comprehensive reports allowing you to look at training in terms of number
of people trained, total hours or costs by department, person, or course.

State of the art curriculum management that allows people and courses to
be assigned to curriculum (groups) with integration to training history to
show what training has occurred and what training stills needs to take place.
Ties back to complete curriculum management reports which can provide on-demand
data for quality and regulatory audits.
